Luis E. García Rosell appointed president of PETROPERU

The General Board of Shareholders of PETROPERU appointed Mr. Luis E. García Rosell as new Chairman of the Board. Along with him, the other members that will accompany him were designated. They are Alex Alberto Alvarado Arauzo, Hernán Barros Cruchaga, Luis Paul Sumar Gilt and Roxana Barrantes Cáceres, who remains in her post as member of the Board

it is a decidedly technical team, with great business experience and who has the mission of taking measures that allow them to effectively deal with the problems of the North Peruvian Pipeline, as well as the policies destined to the modernization of the Company.

It can be mentioned that Mr. García Rosell, who was previously occupying the General Manager position at PETROPERU has ample experience in the private sector and has held important posts, such as CEO of the Wiese Group, as well as different posts in the Backus Group, amongst them, Vice President of Sales, VP of Finances and General Corporate Controller. He was also a member of the Board in said company.
