The artisans of the Independencia community indicated that this exhibition and sale space has allowed them to publicize their products made with natural fibers and dyes, the same ones that are worked with ancestral knowledge that was strengthened, throughout these last 10 years, with various training sessions provided by PETROPERÚ. This has allowed them to improve the design, color and quality, thus achieving insertion in the economic activity and allowing them to be a support for family support.
Through these trainings, the state company provides tools for the sustainable management of the chambira palm tree, making possible the production of a variety of utilitarian and decorative items such as bags, earrings, hammocks, which have been recognized and valued by the national public.
