List of those preselected for training and certification in 6G welding is published

PETROPERU published the list of one hundred preselected for technical training in manual welding GTAW and SMAW and certificate of approval in ASME, Section IX and API 1104. This way, a stage in the process that will benefit forty workers from Talara with experience in the metalworking sector, in line with the Local Labor Recruitment Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.

The shortlisted met the requested requirements, such as being from Talara locals and accrediting a minimum experience of three years in structuralism, pipe assembly or welding 3G, 4G and 6G. In this way, the shortlisted ones will continue with the process that will define the forty beneficiaries that - free of charge - can be trained and approved, improving their chances of reintegration or job growth.

To know the names of the one hundred shortlisted, you can access the website www.oipc.com.pe or view the lists in the information showcases located outside the Office of Information and Citizen Participation (OIPC), located in the Av. C s/n, in front of the PETROPERU Club, which serves the public from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am at 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The lists will be published until Monday, November 4.

From November 5, the preselected ones will begin a process that will consist of a theoretical and practical reinforcement of twenty days, after which they will have to give a practical evaluation of a welding test tube in 6G position, an examination and psychological interview, which will determine, in order of merit, the forty Talara locals benefited.

SENATI, the institution that will be in charge of training and certification on behalf of PETROPERU, will contact those preselected by telephone to indicate the place and time of the informative talk prior to the start of this process.

Finally, the forty selected will begin their training in the month of December for three months in order to receive their certificate of training and approval and thus maximize their employment opportunities.
