Last week to enter the 2021 Copé Awards

Until midnight this Friday, August 27, it will be possible to participate in the XX Biennial of Poetry and VIII Biennial of Novel "2021 Copé Award", a literary contest organized by PETROPERÚ and that, for the second consecutive year, will take place virtually. Those interested in the contest should enter the following link:

There the bases of the contest are detailed in both categories and the answers to the most frequent questions of the contest are answered, as well as an explanatory video to ensure the correct presentation of works and filling in the form with personal data.

All Peruvians of legal age residing in our country or abroad, as well as foreign nationals nationalized or resident in Peru, can participate, except the winners of the Gold Copé Award from the previous biennials of poetry and novels. Contestants may submit more than one work to the contest, provided they do so under different pseudonyms.

The 2021 Copé Award Jury, in each category, will be made up of a representative from the following institutions: Peruvian Academy of Language, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, Ministry of Culture and PETROPERÚ.

The ruling will be final and will be announced from the third week of November 2021, through the contest website, PETROPERÚ's social networks, as well as notifying the winners themselves.

In this way, the state-owned company maintains its commitment to promoting literary creativity in our country and appreciates the dedication of the writers who participate in the contest year after year.
