Last days to submit works to the 2023 Copé Award

There are a few days left for the culmination of the call for the XXI Biennial of Poetry and IX Biennial of Novel "2023 Copé Award", considered the most important and emblematic award for stimulating literary creation in the country and organized -for 44 years for Petroperú. The call period ends next Friday, September 1.

To participate, those interested must present their work —which must never have been published before— in PDF format and with a pseudonym, and present it virtually on the contest website:

In this space you will be able to know the bases of the contests called, the registration form and all the information related to this year's literary contest in the poetry and novel categories.

The qualifying jury for each category will be made up of a representative from each of the following institutions: Peruvian Academy of Language, Ministry of Culture, San Marcos National University, Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Petroperú.

The ruling will be final and will be announced from December 2023, through the contest website, the company's social networks and notifications to the winners themselves.

Since 1979, the Copé Award literary contest has constantly contributed to the promotion and dissemination of Peruvian literature throughout the country, as part of Petroperú's commitment to the development of culture and literary creation in the country.
