The qualifying juries of the III Short Story Competition “Building Stories” and the V Literary Essay Contest, organized by Petroperú, completed the evaluation process of works presented by students from secondary schools in the province of Talara.

In the literary essay category, the judging jury announced the seven finalists from a total of 26 works presented:

The award ceremony

The names of the first and second place winners in both categories will be revealed at the awards ceremony to be held on Friday, December 1, at 9:30 a.m., for which Petroperú will extend the invitation to the finalist students, through of their educational institutions. In this sense, it is necessary to indicate that the lists of finalists are not in order of merit.

The winners will be presented diplomas, trophies and technology equipment, in accordance with the bases of both contests carried out in line with Petroperú's Cultural Management Policy and the Local Development Support Program of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project.
