Jaime Augusto Aguirre guarderas is designated director of PETROPERU

The General Shareholders' Meeting of PETROPERU, in a universal session held on June 19, agreed to appoint Mr. Jaime Augusto Aguirre Guarderas, as a member of the Board of Directors as of June 20, 2019.

Mr. Jaime Augusto Aguirre Guarderas holds a degree in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico, graduated from the first promotion of the Independent Directory Members Program at CENTRUM (PUCP). He obtained an MBA degree, with specialization in international business, from Pace University, New York. He has also studied at the PAD (Senior Management Program) of the University of Piura.

In his professional career he has held various management positions in prestigious companies, among which the Molinera del Centro Company stands out, as General Manager, Komatsu Mitsui Maquinarias Peru, IBM Peru and Latin America, among others. In addition to this, since 2012 he has been the Director of the SNI (National Society of Industries) and since December 2016 he has been the Director of IPAE Acción Empresarial. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Cargo Transport, Director of IPAE, Chairman of the Peru Digital Committee of IPAE and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the first and second Digital CADE; as well as independent Director of Mercantil S.A.

In this way, the Board of Directors of the company is formed, presided over by Mr. Carlos Paredes Lanatta and composed of Mr. Hernán Barros Cruchaga as Vice President, and Mr. Raúl Ricardo Pérez-Reyes Espejo, Mr. José Del Carmen Cabrejo Villagarcía and Mr. Jaime Augusto Aguirre Guarderas.
