Intercommunities Children’s Fulbito Champioship

With great enthusiasm and for the eleventh consecutive year the Intercommunities Children's Fulbito Championship has been carried out as part of the PETROPERU Social Responsibility Management Plan in Iquitos.

Children from 14 communities have participated in unique sporting events, which take place on Saturdays and Sundays in different settings of the participating communities, among which are: Santa Clotilde, Costanera, Centro Arenal, Porvenir, Astoria, Barrio Florido, Santa Clara Zones I, II and III; Independence, Santo Tomás, Picuro Yacu, Santa María del Ojeal and El Milagro.

The closing of the event is scheduled for August 25 where the first three places of the championship will be awarded. Likewise, the scorer, best goalkeeper and the player who performed the best performance will be recognized.

These championships carried out by PETROPERU have allowed the integration of communities through sports. In this way, healthy lifestyle and the practice of values such as discipline, solidarity, companionship and perseverance are encouraged in children.
