The councilors Javier Chambi Atencio, Pedro Esquiagola Rossel and Juan Pinto Quispe verified that the progress in the work has reached 40% and that it will restart soon. PETROPERU promised to submit a comprehensive report on arbitration with contractor Felguera, in charge of construction, in the coming months.
The visit was part of a new day of the Dialogue Table held by PETROPERU with authorities and representatives of the civil society of Ilo. In which it was also agreed to proceed with the beginning of the asphalting of Argentina Avenue, one of the most important in that city. The works are scheduled to begin in October.
On the other hand, it was agreed that the state oil company will carry out a training program for participatory environmental monitoring, which is part of the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) of the New Ilo Terminal.
