Health day for hundreds of children in Arequipa

In the framework of its Social Management Plan, PETROPERU, along with the company MC Transportes S.R.L., conducted a unique oral health and road safety campaign in Arequipa.

The day, carried out in the Villa Magisterial Educational Institution, of the Francisco García Calderón human settlement, in Cerro Colorado, was received with excitement by the approximately 300 children of initial and primary education.

For the oral health day, there was also the presence of specialists from the San Pablo clinic in Arequipa, who answered questions and gave guidance to the children about the importance of tooth brushing, oral hygiene rules and correct eating habits.

Also, the occasion was used to develop a road safety talk, where they talked about the most frequent errors in the streets and routes, as well as about the rights and duties as users of urban transport services.

At the end of the day, the children received colored pencils, coloring sheets and dental hygiene kits, containing toothpaste, toothbrush and mouthwash.

It should be noted that the company MC Transportes S.R.L. works jointly with PETROPERU in the land transport of fuels, through tankers, covering different routes not only in the White City, but also in Moquegua, Puno and Cusco.
