Gaspar Díaz Tello assumes the general management of Petroperú

By board agreement, the appointment of engineer Gaspar Diaz Tello as General Manager of Petroperú was approved as of today, Friday, July 21, in addition to the functions he has been performing as corporate manager in charge of the Talara Refinery.

Likewise, in said session held on Thursday, July 20, it was approved that Beatriz Cristina Fung Quiñones, who had been serving as general manager in charge since April 4, 2022, temporarily assume the Corporate Finance Management.

These temporary appointments have been approved by exception, while the selection process underway for the designation of the holders, both of the General Management and of the Corporate Finance Management, in accordance with the guidelines of the National Fund for the Financing of State Business Activity (FONAFE). 

Diaz Tello is a chemical engineer from the National University of Trujillo. He has 40 years of service at PETROPERÚ and throughout his professional experience he has excelled in management and leadership at the Talara and Iquitos refineries. Since December 2022, he has been in charge of the Talara Refinery Corporate Management, the modern Petroperú refining complex that is in its last stage of gradual and progressive start-up, producing quality fuels to supply the national market.
