Further information on fuel spill in Cercado de Lima

Regarding the information that has been disseminated in the media, after the incident of a tanker in the Ascope shred, in the Cercado de Lima, PETROPERÚ specifies the following:

1. The tanker truck with license plates AJQ730 is not owned by PETROPERÚ nor is it part of the vehicles used by the state company to transport fuel, as has been erroneously reported.
2. The tanker did not transport oil, but diesel and gasohols that were purchased at the Callao Sales Plant by the company Inversiones Sol de Huaycán S.A. for its commercialization in its service stations.
