Fuel supply will return to normal in the coming days

With the capital contribution made, to ensure fuel supply at the national level, Petroperú reports:

  1. Shipments of gasoline and diesel will gradually increase from November, while supply logistics are normalizing through the unloading operations of ships located on the Peruvian coast, the preparation of products in refineries and plants and, finally, transfers via cabotage and land to our sales plants nationwide.
  2. Starting tomorrow, Saturday, October 29, in various ports on the Peruvian coast, the unloading of fuel from six (6) authorized vessels will begin. With this, it seeks to serve the internal market that Petroperú maintains, even in the most remote areas of the country.
  3. Likewise, the company has provided extended service hours from October 29 to November 1 at the Conchán and Mollendo sales plants, in order to provide facilities to its wholesale customers.
  4. It is important to specify that the capital contribution received by the State, through Emergency Decree No. 023-2022, will be strictly used for the purchase of crude oil and products, payments that will be made through the Banco de la Nación.
  5. Petroperú will continue to report on the actions it has been carrying out to guarantee the supply of fuel at the national level.
