Free medical campaigns for communities in the forest

More than 600 people, including children and adults, from the community of Santo Tomas and the Nuevo Punchana Settlement, near the PETROPERU Selva Refinery, recently benefited from two free medical campaigns.

These initiatives, which are part of the Social Responsibility program: "Health for All", are carried out constantly thanks to an agreement with the Regional Health Directorate of Loreto to promote health care in the population.

In addition, of the medical attention, the residents received the respective treatment, which included the delivery of free medicines.

These campaigns include the fluoridation service, as well as the execution of dynamics for children to make them understand the importance of caring for their teeth to avoid cavities and other oral diseases. Finally, patients are given their respective toothbrushes.
