Folkloric dance workshop promoted by PETROPERU in Villa El Salvador came to an end

Promoting art and culture, PETROPERU organized the Folkloric Dance Summer Workshop that benefited dozens of children of Human Settlements (AAHH) of Villa El Salvador (VES), near the Conchán Refinery, who learned the main typical dances of the coast, mountains and jungle of Peru.

The workshop, carried out by the Kuyaiki Cultural Association of VES, aimed to introduce the little ones into the world of Peruvian folklore, as well as to contribute to develop their artistic skills, boost their talents and form values such as responsibility, punctuality, respect and teamwork.

It should be noted that the Kuyaiki Association was chosen as one of the Cultural Points of the Ministry of Culture, an initiative that seeks to expand the exercise of cultural rights at the community level, with special emphasis on children, young people and the vulnerable population; promoting inclusion, empowerment and intercultural citizenship.

With these activities, included in its Social Management Plan, PETROPERU promotes a better coexistence among the neighbors close to its facilities through art and culture in children, promoting spaces of healthy entertainment.
