Engineers from PETROPERU participate in free career guidance talks

Fourth and fifth year high school students from the Max Uhle school in Villa El Salvador shared opinions with leading engineers from PETROPERU - Conchán Refinery, who were in charge of several exhibitions, within the framework of the first "Vocational guidance talk PETROPERÚ 2018". These professionals are part of the group of volunteer professionals who share knowledge among those students, eager to learn and know what career they will choose when they finish their studies.

They explained concepts related to Industrial Engineering; Forestry, Mechanics and Systems Engineering. The students, with basic knowledge of the topics discussed, actively participated with a series of questions, exchanging opinions and clarifying ideas.

Thanks to the help of these professionals, is that the boys can be better oriented, in terms of a career to follow and all agreed that they will know how to take advantage of experiences like this.

In this way, PETROPERU helps to promote the interest of students in engineering associated with the oil and hydrocarbon industry, while stimulating the abilities of students who have greater aptitudes for these careers.

This activity is carried out within the PETROPERU social responsibility policy framework, which seeks to provide social support to neighboring populations to their operations in education, health and creation of productive capacities, among others. At the same time, it seeks to bring students closer to the process of the hydrocarbon industry.
