Engineer Humberto Campodónico assumes the Presidency of the Board of Directors of Petroperú S.A.
General Shareholders Meeting appointed a new Board of Directors, which assumes functions as of today, Saturday, April 2.
The General Meeting of Shareholders of PETROPERÚ appointed engineer Humberto Campodónico Sánchez as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petróleos del Perú - PETROPERÚ S.A. starting on Saturday, April 2, replacing Mario Contreras Ibárcena.
Campodónico Sanchez is an engineer specialized in hydrocarbon economics. He is a professor at the Faculty of Economics of the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors of PETROPERÚ between July 2011 and December 2012.
In the same universal session held on April 1, the General Shareholders' Meeting approved the appointment of professionals Luis Gonzáles Talledo, Carlos Vives Suárez, José Olivares Canchari and Víctor Murillo Huamán as new members of the PETROPERÚ Board of Directors. Óscar Vera Gargurevich remains as the representative director of the workers.
