Educational fair is taking place in Talara

Directors, teachers and students will show the public what they have learned in the training activities that are being carried out as part of the “Quality Schools” program that was implemented in 22 schools in Talara, thanks to the promotion of PETROPERU.

The parade and the pedagogical fair "Quality Schools" were held on July 12 in the Plaza Grau, with a series of activities that promoted the teaching of essential math and communication courses.

In the modules, the audience enjoyed the presentation with puppets, as well as the educational raffle, storytelling, reading plan and the reading and mathematical kiosks. They were also able to witness the crafts and work done by teachers and students of the participating educational institutions.

The "Quality Schools" Educational Improvement Program aims to increase the academic level of students in the province of Talara and is executed in strategic alliance with the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia and the Local Educational Management Unit of Talara.

In the 22 educational institutions of the primary level intervened, 255 teachers have been trained in the areas of communication and mathematics, as part of the teacher's continuing education plan and with the aim of raising their skills development and results in these pedagogical areas in 7,057 schoolchildren.

The program also contemplates the permanent evaluation so that at the end of the pedagogy professionals can be certified by the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia and, with it, continue their teaching career based on merit, according to the Education Reform Law.
