Drivers reaffirm their commitment to the safe transport of hydrocarbons

In order to strengthen the security in the transport of hydrocarbons at the national level, PETROPERÚ held the second Central Committee of Transporters this year, which had the participation of the representatives of the land transport companies that carry out this work in the country.

The PETROPERÚ Supply Chain Manager, Santiago Santa María Rizo Patron, kicked off the event by emphasizing the importance of safety and caution when driving a vehicle in which fuels are transported through the country's highways.

In this sense, the official placed emphasis on redoubling the safety practices applied by transport companies with a current contract with PETROPERÚ, as well as following contractual compliance indicators and compliance acts, reinforcing the commitment to achieve the objective of ZERO ACCIDENTS.

During the development of the Central Committee of Transporters, which was carried out virtually, indications and recommendations were shared to avoid accidents or contingencies. Likewise, it was suggested that transporters report and disseminate the conditions of the roads, especially in rainy seasons, to avoid setbacks.

It is worth mentioning that in addition to these meetings, other activities are carried out to strengthen the preventive culture, among which are security stops at the national level, engaging the participation and awareness of all those involved in safety in land transportation.

In this way, PETROPERÚ promotes safety in the land transportation of hydrocarbons at the national level, working in permanent coordination with the companies and drivers that contribute to the supply of fuels in the country.
