Don't be surprised by scams on fake websites

Regarding the appearance of a series of fake websites that, by misusing the Petroperú brand, aim to surprise the public with alleged prizes, as well as millionaire profits based on capital investment, the state oil company reports the following:

  1. All these digital platforms that are promoted by social networks are FRAUDULENT and do not belong to or have any relationship with Petroperú.
  2. Petroperú, in line with its values of transparency and responsibility, works daily to identify, alert and report these scams carried out by ghost accounts that are replicated at high speed.
  3. According to the investigations carried out, the aforementioned false web pages have been implemented by unscrupulous people who seek to scam and steal users' information, so Petroperú alerts the population not to enter the links sent by WhatsApp or any other social network, much less provide the information requested through those channels.
  4. At Petroperú we never demand a payment to be eligible for a job offer in the company, nor do we communicate changes of bank accounts via email. It is also not common practice for personal data to be requested from users.
  5. Petroperú maintains as its main information channel its institutional portal www.petroperu.com.pe, as well as its official social media accounts, which are available to all users to stay informed of the activities carried out by the company.
