Customers of the Petrored were informed of the progress of the construction of the New Talara Refinery
A delegation, made up of 27 owners of service stations affiliated to the PETROPERU network, took a guided visit to the Talara Refinery, where an important modernization project is being carried out that will allow it to have new highly complex industrial facilities.

The visit began with the presentation of the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT), by Eng. Jorge Alméstar Mauricio, manager of this megaproject that to date records an overall progress of 73%.
During his presentation, Alméstar Mauricio said that the new Talara Refinery is being built with high international standards that will allow it to produce 95 thousand barrels per day of diesel, gasoline and LPG fuels with Euro 6 quality, that is, with 10 parts per million of sulfur.
Subsequently, the visitors were given a guided tour of this engineering and construction work, which consists of the installation of new units of latest technology processes, industrial services and facilities.
Through these visits, PETROPERU seeks to consolidate and strengthen commercial relationships with its customers, as well as keeping them informed of this project that will allow quality fuels to supply the different regions of the country.
