Copé International dialogues come to an end

Copé International dialogues come to an end

PETROPERÚ and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country will begin, this Tuesday, October 20, a series of talks called "Copé International Dialogues", with the aim of disseminating Peruvian literature abroad, promoting the reading and analysis of the authors winners at the Copé Awards, as well as bringing readers abroad to the Virtual Library of the state oil company.

In this first stage, talks have been organized for the countries Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile, and will also be freely accessible to the general public through the Facebook of the Petroperú Cultural Center. The first day, to start from 6pm. (Peru time), will have the participation of the writers Guillermo Cordero (Ecuador) and Diego Trelles Paz (Peru), Copé Ensayo Award 2016, who will speak on cross-cutting themes of Latin American literature. This activity has the support of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar de Quito.

Tuesday October 27 at 7 pm. (Peru time) continues the country of Bolivia, with the participation of the writers of that country Verónica Delgadillo and Benjamín Chávez, who will comment on the work of the Peruvian poet Johny Barbieri, 2019 Copé Prize for Poetry. Support the House of the Bolivian Poet .

Finally, on Tuesday, December 3 at 5 pm. (Peru time), ends the cycle with Chile, with the participation of the writers Andrea Jeftanovic and Galo Ghigliotto who will talk with Alejandro Neyra, Copé Novela Prize 2019 and current Minister of Culture of Peru. Supports the University of Santiago de Chile.

The moderation of the talk cycle will be in charge of the writer, teacher and current deputy director of the Center for Oriental Studies of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, Ricardo Sumalavia.

The presentations will be online and will be made thanks to the joint work with the Peruvian diplomatic missions abroad, as well as the main universities or educational centers of the participating countries.

This cultural activity of PETROPERÚ is part of its cultural management work plan that reinforces its commitment to the promotion of research and literary creation, the promotion of new writers and the consolidation of those already experienced in Peru and abroad.
