Construction of sales plant at Ninacaca, Pasco, has 37% progress

PETROPERU continues work for the construction of the Fuel Supply Plant, located in the Pasco region, at more than 3,500 m.a.s.l. The work records a 37% progress, as the Deputy Manager of Social Development of the state oil company, Tomás Flores Noriega, who highlighted it in a meeting he held this Thursday with the district mayor, César López Huere.

Flores Noriega explained to the burgomaster the scope and characteristics of this work that will benefit the community and transporters. He also commented on some of the projects to be implemented in the area, within the framework of the PETROPERU Social Management Plan.

He also stressed that the project is built with majority participation of local staff, both for skilled and unskilled jobs. Likewise, he stressed that the accident rate in the work is zero, that is, no accident has been reported as far as construction is concerned. In addition, he informed that the environmental monitoring established in the Environmental Impact Study has already been carried out, with optimal results.

For his part, Mayor López Huere, expressed his satisfaction at the presence of the state oil company in his district, welcomed the application of safety regulations and stressed that upon completion of the new supply plant, the central region of the country will be enhanced.

In this way, PETROPERU strengthens its strategic alliance with this community, where projects related to improving agricultural production through a technified irrigation system will also be developed.
