Conchán Refinery will optimize processes to increase its efficiency
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroperú, Alejandro Narváez Liceras, together with the General Manager, Oscar Vera Gargurevich, made a working visit to the Conchán Refinery, as part of their commitment to lead actions aimed at optimizing expenses and improving corporate results in the short and medium term.
During the visit, Narváez Liceras highlighted that work is being done to identify efficiencies in the various operational and administrative processes of the company. These measures seek to reduce costs and optimize operational capacity, reinforcing Petroperú's competitiveness in the fuel market, with socio-environmental responsibility for the benefit of all Peruvians.
The Conchán Refinery, due to its strategic location and logistical facilities, plays a key role in Petroperú's commercial strategy, aimed at increasing its participation in the country's liquid fuel market. It has a significant storage capacity of up to 2.6 million barrels distributed in 65 tanks and one of the most modern hydrocarbon laboratories in the country, with 125 cutting-edge equipment, specialized in the quality control of refined products, in addition to highly qualified personnel.
This plant is a benchmark in the production of top-quality asphalt, with national and international recognition, which positions Petroperú as a leader in this market with a 66% share.
The Chairman of the Board stressed that the implementation of these strategies is part of Petroperú's comprehensive financial recovery plan, which aims to achieve the sustainability of the company within a framework of transparency, compliance with regulations and accountability.
It should be noted that Petroperú also plays an essential subsidiary role by ensuring the supply of fuel in the most remote areas, contributing to the development of the country.
