Communiqué about the PMRT subcontractor case

Given the announcement of the company SSK to request the resolution of the contract that it maintains with Técnicas Reunidas Talara for electromechanical works for the Talara Refinery Modernization Project (PMRT), PETROPERU informs the following:

1. PETROPERU hired the Spanish company Técnicas Reunidas Talara for the execution of the engineering, procurement and construction service (EPC) of the process and facilities units of the PMRT.
2. Técnicas Reunidas Talara continues to develop the necessary activities to ensure the progress and continuity of the PMRT. Likewise, it takes steps to resolve existing impasses with its subcontractors and find the solutions required to meet the project's objectives.
3. PETROPERU maintains constant communication with its contractor Técnicas Reunidas Talara and carries out a permanent follow-up to these efforts in order to reach feasible solutions that benefit companies and workers.
4. We remind the general public that, within the framework of the Environmental Impact Study of the PMRT, any claim process should be channeled through the Information and Citizen Participation Office for proper management by Técnicas Reunidas Talara.
