Cobra Consortium meets with local businessmen
The businessmen associated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Talara met with the head of Construction of the Cobra SRL Consortium, José Elías Granda, who provided information on the construction project of the five auxiliary units of the new Talara Refinery.
The meeting was attended by representatives of PETROPERU and members of the board of the Local Committee of the Community Relations Plan of the Environmental Impact Study (EIA) of the PMRT.
During his presentation, José Elías Granda said that they are currently in the detail engineering process of the auxiliary units and that the execution of the process itself would begin between September and October of this year.
Likewise, he presented in a preliminary form the business opportunities for local companies in the different areas that the Project will require.
In a next meeting, to be held next July, the Cobra SCL Consortium will provide more detail of the goods and services it will require during its stay in Talara, in order to identify local suppliers that can participate in the calls to meet this demand.
