Clients of PETROPERU visited the New Talara Refinery

As part of the loyalty program to the main clients of our company, recently, a group of them visited the facilities of the new Talara Refinery to learn about everything related to the process of the hydrocarbons industry.

Thus, managers and owners of the service stations of Petrored and LPG filling companies, mainly from Lima and the south of the country, knew from within the scope of this mega energy project, whose construction is progressing close to 70%.

With this guided tour, the clients verified the high technological standards with which they work, the processes implemented and the magnitude of the project. In addition, the engineers themselves were able to answer inquiries regarding the installation of the most modern equipment, as well as the social, economic and environmental benefits that this new refinery will bring to the country.

It should be noted that once the new Talara Refinery is operational, it will be able to produce fuels that comply with the Euro 6 standard, that is, with a low sulfur content, which will contribute to improving air quality and thereby reduce respiratory diseases.

The clients, who were accompanied by the representatives of the commercial area of PETROPERU, highlighted the magnitude of the work, which will be at the forefront of Latin America.
