Clients of PETROPERU visited the Conchan Refinery
As part of the work of building loyalty and rapport with our strategic customers, representatives of the Automotive Association of Peru (AAP) and the company Motores Diésel Andinos (Modasa), visited the facilities of the Conchan Refinery.
These clients, coming from the commerce, industry and transport sector, got to know the process of production and refining of hydrocarbons, as well as the meticulous work that is done in the laboratory to obtain high quality products in addition to the strict work developed in the control room of the refinery, which has high safety standards.
The visitors, who also noted the intense work carried out in the refinery's sales plant, showed their full satisfaction by verifying the optimal management that is carried out daily in the attention and dispatch of fuels.
Ernesto Chunga, head of the Conchan Plant Unit, explained the process carried out by drivers to load the fuel, from weighing in the entrance and reviewing the optimal conditions of their vehicles to the dispatch of the product, whose automation process is of the most modern.
It should be noted that the Conchan Sales Plant sells 40 thousand barrels per day of fuel, between diesel and 90 and 95 octane gasoline. In addition, thanks to the implementation of the automation system, it is expected to be able to optimize the service in order to reduce the dispatch time of tanker trucks to an average of one minute.
