Children of Villa El Salvador enjoyed 2019 Pan American Games

A group of children from Villa El Salvador enjoyed, thanks to PETROPERU, the Lima 2019 Pan American Games party, where they encouraged the Peruvian baseball team during the match they played with the Argentine national team at the Andrés Avelino Cáceres Sports Complex.

During the day, the 23 minors who make up the Sports Academy that PETROPERU implemented in the areas near Refinería Conchán to encourage sports practice, cheered for the Peruvian team with Milko, the official mascot of the Lima 2019 Pan American.

Through the PETROPERU sports academy, values such as respect, solidarity, companionship, responsibility and perseverance are promoted, with a view to forging better citizens. Likewise, the state company has been contributing to the recovery of public spaces in the area and promoting their care.

It should be noted that PETROPERU is the “Official Fuel of the Pan American and Parapan American Games Lima 2019” with which it has been guaranteeing the supply of the fleet of 350 official buses. In addition, the state oil company sponsors the athletes Dunia Felices (ParaSwimming), Andy Martínez (Athletics) and Efraín Sotacuro (ParaAthletics), who in their participation will uphold the name of Peru.

This way, PETROPERU reaffirms its commitment to sport, encouraging children and young people to practice different disciplines and encouraging all athletes who participate in the most important sporting event on the continent.
