Children enjoy their holidays with PETROPERU dance workshops
Dozens of children from different AAHH in Villa El Salvador, near the Conchán Refinery, have participated in the Folkloric Dance Workshop, promoted by PETROPERU, making the most of their school vacations in a healthy and fun way.
75 children participate in the classes, and twice a week learn the main typical dances of our coast, mountains and jungle, under the care of the Kuyayki Folk Association, which has several years of experience teaching these courses in the district.
It should be noted that these workshops are not only useful for introducing the children to the world of Peruvian folklore, but also contribute to develop their artistic skills, boost their talents and form values such as responsibility, punctuality, respect and teamwork.
With these activities, PETROPERU shows its commitment to promote the arts and to revalue Peruvian culture in the eyes of children, promoting healthy public spaces for children of limited resources, thus distancing them from possible risk situations.
