Chairman of the Board submitted his resignation

Petroperú informs that today, April 24, the petroleum engineer Carlos Vives Suárez submitted his resignation as Chairman of the Board of Petróleos del Perú - Petroperú S.A.

During his tenure, Petroperú began the production of low-sulfur fuels at the New Talara Refinery. Likewise, the signing of the License Agreement for the Exploitation of Hydrocarbons in Lot 192 was completed, and the incorporation of a strategic partner is in process. Likewise, the company's financial sustainability continued to be strengthened, for which the company's Restructuring Plan consultancy began.

Vives Suárez served as Chairman of the Board of Petróleos del Perú - Petroperú S.A. since January 9, 2023 and as vice president and independent director of the same since April 2, 2022.
