Carlos Paredes and Jose Cabrejo are appointed new board members of PETROPERU

The General Shareholders' Meeting of PETROPERU, in a universal session, agreed to appoint Carlos Eduardo Paredes Lanatta and José del Carmen Cabrejo Villagarcía, as members of the Board of Directors as of February 1, 2019.

José Cabrejo Villagarcía

Mr. Cabrejo Villagarcía is a Doctor of Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (candidate). He also holds the degree of Master of Laws in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University, as well as a Master's Degree in Finance and Corporate Law (candidate) from ESAN University and a Master's Degree in International Economic Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, he has served as Managing Director of International Business Legal Advice and external legal counsel for Prima AFP and Aero Transporte. In the public sector, he has served as Advisor in concessions and infrastructure projects (project finance) and Adviser attached to the Commission of Consumer Defense and Regulatory Bodies of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, among others.

Carlos Paredes Lanatta

For his part, Mr. Paredes Lanatta holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University (USA). He also holds a Master's Degree in International Economics and Development from the same University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico. He has worked as a consultant in the economic and financial, fishing and energy fields. In the public sector, he has served as Chief of Staff of Advisers of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and, on multiple occasions, as a consultant to the Ministry of Production.

This way, the Board of Directors of the Company is formed, chaired by the engineer James Atkins Lerggios and also integrated by Mr. Hernán Barrós Cruchaga, as Vice President.
