Call for the “Copé Awards” closes on august 9th

The countdown began to close the call for the Copé Awards, the most important literary awards in the country, established by PETROPERU for 40 years and, on this occasion, will reward the winner of the novel biennial with 45 thousand soles.

In the XIX Biennial of Poetry and VII Biennial of Novel “2019 Copé Award”, all Peruvians residing in the country or abroad, and nationalized foreign citizens or residents in Peru may participate.

The works have been received in the main office of PETROPERU, of the Av. Enrique Canaval Moreyra 150, San Isidro, as well as in the headquarters of the refineries and sales plants nationwide until Friday, August 9, 2019.

In the case of authors residing abroad, they may present their work in the diplomatic representations of Peru in their country of residence.

In addition to the 45 thousand soles for the winner in the novel category, the winners will also be rewarded to those who apply in poetry with 35 thousand soles, 25 thousand soles and 15 thousand soles to first, second and third place, respectively.

Likewise, the winners will receive the Copé Trophy for each one and the winning works will be published, together with a selected anthology of finalist poems, by PETROPERU, under the Ediciones Copé seal.
