Businessmen from different sectors of the national industry, as well as representatives of the Armed Forces and the National Police, visited the facilities of the new Talara Refinery, which to date has a 70% comprehensive advance.

Prior to touring the construction works of 16 modern process units, which have an advance rate of over 86%, visitors received information on the new technologies that are being implemented and that will allow processing 95 thousand barrels of crude oil per day.

Likewise, the visitors were informed that in the next few months the construction work of the Auxiliary Units would begin, which will provide resources such as water, steam production and electric power, among others, to the new refinery. Currently, this component of the project is in the detailed engineering stage.

Upon completion of its construction, the new Talara Refinery will be in line with the new demands of the international energy market, producing quality fuels that ensure the preservation of air quality and the health of all Peruvians.
