Blockade of port facilities in Station 1 of the ONP is lifted
After negotiations with the authorities of the communities of Saramurillo, province and Loreto region, the blockade of the port facilities of Station 1 of the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP) was lifted.
The talks were led by a commission composed of representatives of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers (PCM), Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Energy and Mines, Ministry of the Interior, Regional Health Directorate (DIRESA) and the Fisheries Development Fund (FONDEPES); as well as representatives of PETROPERU and Pluspetrol.
The record of the lifting of the measure of force was signed on May 23, after reaching a preliminary agreement on the agenda of sectoral issues that will be reviewed in the coming days.
PETROPERU will continue participating in the dialogue maintained between the different actors involved in the demands of the aforementioned communities. Likewise, it has been evaluating the support that the Company can offer to these localities within the framework of its Social Management Plan.
