Bayóvar Terminal passes external audit of its Quality Management System

The Bayóvar Terminal successfully passed the external audit of the first follow-up of the Quality Management System (QMS) certification, based on ISO 9001:2015 for the processes of reception, storage and dispatch of liquid hydrocarbons, which includes basic port services.

The evaluation company carried out the verification of the loading and unloading processes of ships, crude oil storage, quality control, maintenance and inspection, as well as the logistics, human resources and non-industrial services administrative activities, obtaining as a result "zero no-conformities" in planning, execution, evaluation and continuous improvement management.

The external audit, carried out by the company SGS del Perú, was carried out on-site in the operational and maintenance areas and included a tour of the Bayóvar Terminal facilities to inspect the dock, tank farm, control room and laboratory. The administrative areas were audited remotely.

This successful result highlights the commitment and effort of the workers, as well as the fundamental support of the company to carry out operations safely and with high quality standards.
