Authorities verify progress of the work in the New Ilo Terminal

The main authorities of the Provincial Municipality of Ilo, along with representatives of the civil society of that port, together with PETROPERU personnel, made a visit to what will be the New Ilo Terminal, where they verified that the works are still advancing. They verified that the construction of the perimeter wall has been completed and the foundations and other civil works continue, such as the installation of tanks and pipes.

The visit, which was carried out following one of the agreements of the last Dialogue Table in the area, aimed to publicize the stages of the project and the work that is being carried out.

On the part of the Ilo Municipality, one of the councilmen was emphatic when pointing out that the progress of the works in the Lomas La Buitrera sector can already be seen. In turn, one of the leaders of Urb. Garibaldi, representing the civil society of Ilo, said that this field visit has fully met their expectations. "It has been proven that everything explained and indicated during the tour is correct," he said.

It should be noted that the state oil company maintains constant communication with its contractor Consorcio Felguera and carries out a permanent follow-up to guarantee the completion of the work.
