Auditing company delivered audited 2022 Financial Statements of Petroperú

The Board of Directors of Petroperú S.A. approved on August 31st of this year the favorable opinion on its 2022 Financial Statements (EEFF) by the prestigious auditing company Gaveglio, Aparicio y Asociados SCRL - PwC, which will soon be submitted to the company's General Shareholders' Meeting.

The aforementioned audit firm establishes in its opinion that: "In our opinion, the attached financial statements fairly present, in all significant aspects, the financial situation of the company as of December 31st, 2022, its results and its cash flows for the year ended on that date, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB)”.

The RUs are essential to know the economic and financial situation of the company and the fact that the opinion is presented without qualifications contributes to the efforts made by Petroperú to recover the confidence of the market.

The presentation of the audited EEFF 2022 coincides with the start of the stabilization phase of the New Talara Refinery and the start of the production of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to supply this fuel to the north and northeast of the country. In this way, Petroperú is beginning the path towards its economic-financial recovery, within the framework of its Strengthening Plan, established by the U.D. 023-2022, which includes the restructuring and reorganization of the company.
