ARPEL 2022 Conference will be held in Lima
The Association of Oil, Gas and Renewable Energy Companies of Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL) will hold, from Monday, November 14 to Wednesday, November 16, the 6th edition of the ARPEL Conference, at the Westin Hotel in Lima.
This year, the main topics to be discussed will be the energy transition in the oil and gas sector, the global crisis and regional opportunities, the future of refining and digital transformation.
The inauguration will include the participation of Carlos Vives Suarez, Vice President of the Petroperú Board of Directors; Hugo Aguiar, general manager of EP Petroecuador, as well as the highest authorities in the country and executives of the main operating and supplier companies in the sector.
The first day will have the presence of Daniel Yergin, Vice President of S&P Global, who will speak on "The oil and gas sector in the face of the energy transition and the new risk dynamics".
The talk “A new era for Downstream in Peru - Talara Refinery Modernization Project”, will be one of the topics to be discussed at the conference. Óscar Vera, manager of the Talara Refinery, will be in charge of this presentation, scheduled for Tuesday the 15th, starting at 2pm.
It should be noted that ARPEL is a non-profit association that involves companies and institutions in the oil, gas and renewable energy sector in Latin America and the Caribbean. It was founded in 1965 as a vehicle for cooperation and reciprocal assistance between companies in the sector.
