PETROPERU presented with great satisfaction in the city of Iquitos, the work "AMAZONAS RUTA MILENARIA III... Un Lugar llamado Amazonía", one of the latest publications of Copé Ediciones.
The comments by the historian and journalist Luis Tafur expressed passion and conviction about the Amazon, populated for 20,000 years, with its peculiarities and unique complexities.
The outstanding archaeologist Aldo Bolaños, compiler of the work, highlighted the millenniality of the Amazonian peoples expressed in the construction of the landscape, the objects and the relationship with the environment. He pointed out that there is abundant information scattered about the Amazon, but that it is not accessible to the entire public, for that reason the delivery of the book Amazonas Ruta Milenaria III.
This work was presented in the framework of the Amazon Book Fair, which is being carried out in Iquitos, under the organization of the Decentralized Directorate of Loreto.
It should be noted that these presentations are part of the decentralized program of Cultural Management of Petroperú and the proposal by our Company to promote a proactive debate on the Amazon. Amazonas Ruta Milenaria III was presented in Pucallpa, now in Iquitos and soon in Yurimaguas.
