Amazon women participate in productive entrepreneurships

Dozens of mothers from the Naranjal and Nueva Unión communities, in the Loreto region, participate in the Pattern Making, Cutting and Dressmaking Workshop, organized and developed by PETROPERU and that seeks to contribute to the generation of new opportunities for women's entrepreneurship and development of those areas, adjacent to the North Peruvian Pipeline (ONP).

The workshop consists of three modules, in which attendees learn each step of the manufacturing process; from the selection of materials to the preparation of garments, in addition to the use of unique techniques of painting on canvas, among others.

Skirts, dresses, blouses, as well as accessories, such as purses, are part of the articles made by the participants of the first two modules of the workshop, which shows not only the correct application of sewing techniques, but, above all, the creativity and dexterity of each of the participating women.

In this way PETROPERU reaffirms its permanent commitment to improving the quality of life of the neighboring populations of the ONP, through the promotion and execution of sustainable projects.
