Álvaro Silva, driver sponsored by PETROPERU, wins Caminos del Inca 2019 truck category

PETROPERU participated in the closing ceremony of “Caminos del Inca”, the most important automobile race in the country and in which competitors sponsored by the Company use their fuels. PETROPERU has been a sponsor of this tough competition for more than two decades.

The president of the Automobile Club of Peru, Luis Martín Alayza de Losada, led the closing ceremony in which he recognized the winners of this edition and all the participants for their commitment and commitment demonstrated in this outstanding rally.

During the event, held at the PETROPERU Auditorium, Álvaro Silva and his co-driver Paolo “Chubi” Zani were recognized, two of the pilots sponsored by the Company, who took first place in the trucks category and third in the general category.

The state oil company recognized the participant who best represented the sporting values of this competition through the "Petroperu - Clean Game" award. The award fell on Víctor Cárdenas of the S2000 category.

PETROPERU also sponsored the runners Fernanda Kanno, Alonso Carrillo and Renzo Lercari, who had an outstanding participation taking the colors of the state oil company in the 49th edition of “Caminos del Inca”.

The event, organized by the Peruvian Automobile Club, was held from October 12 to 20. 46 runners participated who crossed eight regions of Peru (Lima, Junín, Huancavelica, Ayacucho, Apurímac, Cusco, Arequipa and Ica), during a journey of more than 3,000 kilometers.
