2019 Fire Prevention Week is launched

PETROPERU, through the Corporate Environment, Safety and Occupational Health Management, organizes its Fire Prevention Week at its headquarters.

It is an awareness program whose objective is - among others - to disseminate knowledge of self-protection, as well as to identify the risks that may arise in our environment: homes, schools, work centers, etc.; and acquire the necessary knowledge to be able to act in case of emergency.

In this new edition, talks about fire preparation and evacuation are planned; in addition to a demonstration of rescue maneuvers with ropes and accident prevention conferences in buildings.

Likewise, fire prevention workshops will be held to acquire preventive habits and the correct use of extinguishers. Safety competitions, exhibition of firefighting equipment and accessories, among others, are part of this Fire Prevention Week.

All activities that will be carried out are free and will be taught and supervised by trained personnel. This event takes place within the framework of compliance with the highest standards of safety and health at work in PETROPERU.
